Floyd Landis Accused Of Hacking | Floyd Landis arrest warrant issued
French anti-doping officials revealed today that a French judge issued an arrest warrant for Landis two weeks ago. He is wanted for questioning over a computer “hacking” incident at the Chatenay-Malabry laboratory in 2006. That was the year Landis was stripped of his Tour de France victory after doping tests—which were processed at that lab—disqualified him due to high testosterone levels. Landis tried to use the hacking incident during his appeals process to show that the lab was mishandling their data. It did not work and he was banned for two years.
According to multiple media outlets, including cyclingnews.com, Pierre Bordry, president of the French anti-doping agency (AFLD) said a warrant was issued January 28, charging Landis with hacking into an agency computer.
